Job Summary: The primary responsibility of a food runner is to provide assistance to wait staff and bartenders at restaurants. Runners assist busy wait staff deliver orders to customers in a timely manner. Food Runners run food from the kitchen to the tables. While it might seem simple, it's an important job that ensures a smooth and efficient operation. When the food runner delivers the food, he/she may also check to see if the member/guest has everything he/she needs and can deliver any additional items.
Job Duties:
- Assists wait staff in their tasks
- Assists in carrying food trays to tables
- Removes soiled dishes from table; brings to dish washing area
- Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu
- Deliver food to guest quickly and efficiently
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff
- Knowledge of menu items and their composition
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy food trays
- Ability to work well under pressure, be professional, detail-oriented, and courteous
- Solid communication skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be a task-driven, organized individual

The main clubhouse is 87,000 square feet and is open 6 days per week, year-round. Amenities include A la Carte dining, Banquet rooms, men’s and women’s grills and locker rooms, casual dining restaurant, 18-hole golf course, swimming pools with poolside dining, tennis courts, and a fitness facility.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
